About Vine Technology

Why the name Vine Technology?

Vine Technology was once part of a company called Santa Clara Valley Computer Sciences. The polysyllabic name was such a mouthful to say on the phone that management decided to pick a simpler rubric. The nearness of Napa Valley to Silicon Valley may have played a part in the decision. Vine Technology is not involved in the production of grape vines or wine (yet.)
