I'm not sure how these treats would be for a dog, (my dogs are grain free, these treats are not), but my RATS love them. I like to keep their diet corn free, and these treats fit that bill. I found them while searching for yogurt treats.I do think they are a bit pricey comparing to the treats I buy my dogs at around the same size, and grain free, but it's a little splurge for my favortie rodents.

I feed my rabbits these, as part of a variety diet, which also includes, fresh vegetables, fresh & dried fruits, and various other "cookie" type things, such as other vegetarian "dog" food, and "dog" biscuits. That way, the house rabbits, look forward to their days, and get a variety of nutrients, of good things they like, like peanut butter, sweet potatoes, molassass, various grains, veggies, greens, fruits, etc., as well as varieties of hay. Even dandilion flowers which they love.
The "commercial rabbit pellets, were made for the same reason as other pelleted animal feed, so people with many rabbits (meat/breeders/labs :( can give their rabbits a cheap sustainence. If the rabbit pellet food, isn't organic, then it probably has Genetically modified alfalfa in it. My rabbits don't like pelleted rabbit feed. And alfalfa isn't recommended for adult rabbits.
A rabbit in the wild, eats a variety of grasses, broad leaved "weeds", berries, nuts, fruits, vegetables, etc. If you have a rabbit, give it some variety in moderation.
If your rabbit really likes something in particular, you could use it to "train" them. Even chickens can be trained if given meal worms, one of their favorite foods.
There's no such "yummies" in "poultry diet". Traditional "rabbit pellets" don't have any yummies in them either.
Imagine just being given Cheerios, for every meal. You'd eat them because you had no choice. Animals like choices just like people. One of my rabbits loves tomatoes, while the other doesn't. These are meant as treats, and as such, they make critters happy in moderation. If I were the manufacturer, I'd think about just calling them "vegetarian PET treats, and they'd get a wider customer base.
great for mice, rats, rabbits, horses, gerbils, cows, sheep, parrots? any omnivore, or vegetarian critter, that can eat crunchy things.
