I ordered the Wellness Super5 mix small bread puppy food for my long-haired miniature dachshund because she loves the Wellness brand Just For Puppy Treats and there was a glowing review by another dog owner about how much her 7 month old, 9 lb dog loved it.
My 11 month, 8 lb puppy hates it. She always gets excited for feeding time but since I bought her this food a week ago she won't even eat it until she is starving. I tried mixing it with her old food to transition her to the new food and I have tried adding some organic chicken broth to the food to make it taste better for her but she still barely eats it. I am going to have to go buy her new food, which I am not happy about after purchasing the large bag of this brand last week but my puppy is starving herself.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My puppy was on this when I got her and she has continued to love this food! She eats all Wellness- treats and wet food on occasion. She is 7 months old and is about 9 pounds; she loves her food and has tons of energy! I know some of her energy is attributed to her young age but she even out-paces other puppies in our neighborhood... I definitey think a lot of that has to do with her great diet! We will be staying with Wellness for her life- great brand with lots of choices and benefits!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
