I wanted to switch to a more natural deodorant, so I bought this Tom's of Maine lavender variety. It smelled really nice in the tube, but it just didn't work. I gave it a few tries, but ended up with stinky pits each time.

I tried this in early summer and it doesn't work for me at all. I end up stinky after about an hour without any activity or heat. I am not a very sweaty person and have never encountered a deodorant that didn't work for me (this is the first natural deodorant I have used). Will save it for winter and hope it does a better job with no heat at all.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have used Tom's of Maine products for years, but had been (for no particular reason) been using a different product. I bought this product to fill in an order to get free shipping.
I am glad I did. It does all it should do and smells great, but not overpowering.
I will never use another brand..Love it and will recommend to others.

This is my absolute favorite. I stopped using antipersperants containing aluminum a few years ago. I went straight to Toms lavender and have never gone back. It keeps me dry, smelling good, and I've never had an issue with B.O. or feeling wet and soggy-- even in the middle of summer. It actually lasts several days during the milder climates too!
