More than half of these bags were ripped. They were not closed at one end and if they were closed at the end, they oftentimes would rip open as soon as I pulled the bag out of our kitchen trash can. Do not purchase these.

I bought four boxes of these bags, they frequently are not completely sealed on the bottom or the seam tears when you open the bag, I had to discard an entire box because every single bag was only half sealed on the bottom, really defeating the purpose of buying these bags. The ones that were correctly sealed at the bottom were ok, but not that strong.

I have had to triple bag and often even that does not work. Some I put my hand straight through when I go to unravel them for use. It is not environmentally conscious to throw away up to five trash bags each time I go to use one! I ended up throwing the whole box in the recycle can and purchased regular trash bags. DO NOT BUY.

I was wary of this product after the other reviews, but these garbage bags have worked great for me without any issue. Like most people, I'm lazy and smash as much garbage as humanly possible into a bag before I have to take it out. Despite many smashings, these bags have held up and not leaked or torn. I am buying them again because of it.

I paid a little more for these bags b/c I thought it was a little better for the environment, but after taking out bag after bag, and the bottom would come apart, leaving a big hole for the contents to just fall out, I would not use these bags again or recommend anyone buying them. I like other 7th Generation products, but this one was disappointing.
