This was my first time using powder detergent, This had the best rating on the EWG website an A rating which means this is a nontoxic product. I was pretting skeptical that it would work. Especially for really dirty clothing from my toddler (vomit). I hand washed his clothing in the tub only using this and hot water. Took smell out so easily and still was soft even though I didnt use fabric softener. Compared to me using GAIN for the same reason the last time in which the clothes that time smelled like vomit plus Gain! Not Cool.
I then again wanted to double check if this would work and washed my curtains with this stuff. Took out the stains from the kitchen curtains. This product has a scent in its powder form but does not remain on clothes. This doesnt bother me as long as my clothes are soft which I used with fabric softner sheets from seventh generation and that worked too. Also left no smell. Amazing. Impressed. Just try it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I used this product for the first time and it smells great without all that Chemical stuff. I will be using this from now on instead of the free and clear!!
