I use this trash bag in the kitchen trashcan, tiny bathroom trashcans, the diaper pail, and in the recycling bin. I am invested in buying products that are environmentally conscious, but am seriously bummed about the quality of this particular item. When cinching up the kitchen bag, it often rips. Heavy loads are transfered with exceptional care, or I have to put another bag around it. So much for reducing. I am considering a different brand.

I really want to use biodegradable products, but these bags illustrate why it's so hard. They shred easily when trying to remove from the can. So far, nothing disastrous has happened, but pulling the bag from the can and getting it to the garbage outside involves tiptoeing and very slow movements!
