Friend recommended this product to me. I have high cholesterol in my mid 40's (genetic condition) and I take this product under the guidance of my physician. No aftertaste whatsoever. My physician wanted me to take a mercury-free oil and I think this is as close to pure as I can get.

I got this product primarily for depression, because my body does not seem to agree with antidepressants. I haven't seen a lot of impact on my mood, but I also have been dealing with an incredible amount of stress. I do see a bit of an improvement in my tic disorder since I started taking it though. I'm interested to see how my mood will be once my stress level goes down. I don't notice any taste or after-taste.
