I tried this when I was not able to find my regular detergent. I like the compact size and the pump top. I smelled this in the store and it smells fine, but when it mixes with water it smells NASTY! I decided to get past that because if it worked, I could overpower the smell with fabric softener. WRONG! It does NOT clean well at all and my clothes - even after adding fabric softener - smell like moth balls!!!!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is a great product. It cleans really well, leaves no residue behind on clothes or in the washer. It is also an excellent choice should you have sensitive skin. Myself and both my children have eczema which flares when our skins come into contact with harsh detergents, chemical nasties and artificial fragrances. I'm extremely careful when choosing household cleaning products. Who want to breath in chemicals or have them held against your skin! I use quite a few of the Method products and not only are they a better choice for your health and that of the environment but they work.

I am a massage therapist and wash a lot of sheets! I'm pretty picky about detergents. I haven't switched since I first tried method's 'free & clear' laundry detergent. I love that it's so concentrated, and also the refill pack concept. Less packaging makes me happier! Performance-wise, it's very thorough.

I love that there is an easy to use refill for the Method Laundry detergent. It is especially good for me as I have little strength in my hands and the pump is so easy to use
