I dropped mine down a huge flight of metal stairs while full to the brim and all that happened was one small dent. It still works great 2 years later! I wash mine with warm water and a little bit of baking soda and I never get any kind of an aftertaste. Do the eco-friendly thing and buy this product!

I absolutely love my Klean Kanteen! My husband and I have the stainless steel colored 27 ounce bottles and they fit perfectly in my BOB's handlebar accessory. They keep our water cool, no leaks (even when jogging and/or hiking with the stroller) and don't leave a funky taste. They look nice and are well made. Klean Kanteen is a wonderful brand and you can find out ANYthing you want about them.. They are very transparent about their company - and rightly so! They have nothing to be ashamed of! I did a LOT of research before purchasing our reusable containers (as I do with everything I buy) and I am very happy we went with KK. Even my 14 month old loves to drink out of the "big boy" cup! Once my dear, sweet husband left his on top of the car and we didn't realize it until it fell off - smacking the trunk, making a horrible noise and rolling down the bumper onto the gravel behind us - and KK barely had a scratch while my trunk now has a very large dent! I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

We use these canteens everyday, on trips, walks, and at work(for the adults). Not only is it safe, but for "water-snobs" it passes the test in taste and coolness-factor. Everyone in our family owns one, and we are constantly re-ordering to replace lost canteens. Silver canteens are "invisible" on the floor of vans, next to carseats, and under beds. Yet, we buy more silver to save a couple bucks.
