I bought these bars to keep in my office at my small retail shop because I often don't have an opportunity for a proper lunch. I was hesitant - chocolate? really? how is this not a candy bar? - but now I'm a believer. These bars may have some yummy dark chocolate, but the rest of the ingreditents seem to do what's promised: even in the bar's compact size, they provide enough protein & fiber that you feel actually like you've eaten something and the sugar content is low enough that there is no post-sugar crash. When I add a little yogurt drink or a green tea it's an even better bridge to the next meal and keeps my brain functioning through the afternoon blahs. You might feel there's work to chew the nuts but that actual, "really food" feeling is FAR better in my opinion than the gooey-sticky of some other bars that feel like a masochist's workout for my jaw. The individual bars seem to keep together well enough when I carry them in my bag, too. A reasonably good value in a snack if you buy in bulk.

Great snack! I actually use for breakfast as is all good for you and gluten free! Love KIND products and this flavor doesn't dissapoint.

Ordered these for a snack because I can't have gluten, and I definitely reacted to them. Looked online and many people with celiacs have a problem with the KIND bars, perhaps because they may contain oats. I also didn't think it was that delicious. It's basically a variety of nuts with a kind of tacky chocolate drizzle, so you could probably make chocolate-covered nuts yourself that would be more delicious.

Unfortunately, the product I received was stale and very tough, not soft and chewy. I never had a stale Kind bar before so I did not realize at first that it was stale. Be forwarned: You can receive stale bars and, if you do, you should call Customer Service right away.
