Kid Basix The Safe Starter is great for new parents. The bottle is made of nontoxic stainless steel with a silicone sleeve casing for improved insulation. The travel cap protects the nipple and also serves as a measuring cup. The storage disc keeps the bottle top fixed and prevents leaks.

Bought these after looking specifically for a stainless steel bottle, since local daycares do not permit glass bottles. When washed, water gets trapped between silicone sleeve and metal bottle. While it's easy to take off the sleeve, putting it back on after both parts are dry is a huge pain.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
