This set has kept my son's attention for almost a year. First, he loved the blankie. It was soft enough to use as a car toy, with corners he could suck on. Then he loved the monkey rattle, easy to hold and chew on. It took a while before he liked the banana (once he started eating them and knew what it was), but now he is amazed by velcro and opens and shuts the ring, then shakes it. And he STILL plays with the other two. Even better, these clean up well in the washer, and the nubby fabric makes a great teether.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
