I just received these today and was really excited to try them, being a green product and all. Sadly, they are terribly brittle. One slipped out of my hand after I took it out of the package, breaking off a sharp piece of the side handle on my counter top. The other bowl went directly into the trash. Very disappointing.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

These bowls are a nice alternative to the many plastic bowls on the market. I have been using these for my son's cereal for a few weeks now and have not had an issue. The only thing that I can think of that would make them even better would be if there was a lid for use when on the go...

I loved that these were made from something other than plastic. I wanted them to be great, but alas, they are not. The bowls and the plates broke on first and second use. The spoons, however, are quite good.
