Since 1989 Biokleen has been producing effective, biodegradable, plant and mineral based household cleaners and laundry products. Produced in their Vancouver, WA based manufacturing plant, 100% of the energy and water used in production and office are offset through the Bonneville Environmental Foundation and Green Lights programs. Jim Rimer, Biokleen Founder, decided to make a difference when he realized the chemicals he was selling contained known toxins and carcinogens. Starting in his garage with a drum and an oar he created his first concentrated product, Biokleen All Purpose Cleaner. Pouring bottles by hand his client base grew as well as his product selection. Soon Biokleen became available in local natural foods stores then spread nationwide. Concentrated products are nothing new to Biokleen, RimerÆs vision of leaving the smallest footprint by reducing packaging and waste was a leading factor in all products he created. As far as I can tell, it works just as well as the OxyClean I used to buy. I always worry that the natural cleaners won't work as well as their harsher chemical counterparts but I'm really pleased with this stuff.

I have only used this product once or twice since receiving it and I am very happy with it. I had two dish towels that went through the wash and came out with dark stains still on them. I also had a blue/white bikini that went through the mud baths of St. Lucia and I could NOT get the grey out, even through 3 washings.
Using the recommended amount times about 2 (really just added more water) I soaked these items in the bleach solution and after about 10 minutes, not only were my polka dots white again (which I couldn't believe!) but my dish towels came out almost perfect! I was very impressed with its power, its easy to use, and I look forward to using it around the house for towels and linens.

There are endless uses but for me it's the ability to clean carpet after a pet gets sick or makes a mess. Works first time most of time.

If I could give this product more than five stars, I would.
I have a front load washer. Despite maintaining the machine, leaving the doors open between use, and running bleach through it, the thing stank leaving all of our clothes with a bit of an odor. Additionally our whites were coming out gray and other clothes just didn't seem to be getting quite clean. So I decided I had nothing to lose by trying BioKleen. For the first time in years, my washer and laundry room don't smell! My whites are losing that gray hue and actually look white again. My colored clothes look and smell clean. And my towels don't smell when they're wet. Finally my toddler's clothes that would once stain with the messes he'd get into, now come out of the wash clean.
I put a tablespoon of product directly into the washing machine before running the load.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
