A Closer Look: Laundry Powder, Citrus has grapefruit and orange peel extracts that whitens and deodorizes clothes. There is an orange scent left behind on the clothes to give it a fresh feel. The powder is useful for high efficiency washers and also lasts longer. The anti-corrosive formula helps leave the fabric soft and irritation free.

My husband is always skeptical of "green" cleaning products, but I wanted to give this one a try. We have a high efficiency washer and I used it to clean sweat soaked yoga clothes, sheets and a regular load of laundry. Normally, I use Tide Free and Clear and I would say the cleaning quality is the same. The scent is not strong so the clothes just smell neutral when coming out of the wash. If you are used to your laundry smelling very floral or perfumed you might be a little disappointed, but if you want quality cleaning in a safe way try Biokleen

I have been using this product for almost a year, and I refuse to use anything else! It cleans better than anything (including conventional brands) I have ever tried, plus it has chlorine-free natural bleach in the mix. Honestly, I have not used bleach since I got hooked on this product. My whites are super-bright, my colored clothes keep their color longer, and stains come out better. There is no over-powering scent, just a clean, fresh (barely noticeable) scent. This detergent saves my family so much money as well. We wash about 3 loads of laundry a day in a super-sized machine, and the 10# box lasts about 2 months. It is SO worth a try!
