I have a HE machine in our apartment building and this product does great (with half the cap of detergent). It also does great in the standard machines. I also use it for the baby's stuff and she has never had a breakout or rash.

We do a LOT of laundry in this house - including cloth diapers - and I am so happy with the quality, effectiveness and smell (or lack of) of this product. Biokleen, in my opinion, is one of the top eco brands out there that actually avoids weird ingredients AND works really well. And with the number of loads possible, it is VERY economical.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
