We travelled to southern Italy last summer. The mosquitos were not only numerous, they were vicious, the spray worked better than any of the other products we had and the one night I forgot to put it on my little one he woke up looking like he had chicken pox poor thing (no exaggeration) . I highly recommend it.

Both my daughter and I attract mosquitos. This bug spray does NOT work. Extremely strong odor and a bit greasy but if it worked I wouldn't care.

I bought this for my 2 year old son, because I didn't want to use harsh chemicals on his skin. We travel a lot, and we've been to places with a lot of mosquitos and ticks, and so far I am very impressed by this product! It smells nice, and actually works. Although I prefer to reapply it once every 2-3 hours.

We used to live in the city, where mosquitoes did not exist. A few years ago, we moved to the suburbs and they were everywhere - and I can't stand getting bug bites. We've tried various products - Burt's Bees (which seems ok too, no complaints) and other natural bug repellents. I like this one a lot and it works really well for me. I do use it liberally - so I go through a bottle somewhat quickly (maybe once a month using it every other day or so).
Today I went for a hike with my 2 year old daughter and neither of us were bitten - our friends said they liked the wintergreen smell so much that they asked to use some too! I've tried the Badger balm too but I find it takes a long time to put it on.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
